Tangerine pips competition to the post to win PR Agency of the Year
Tangerine PR is celebrating the taste of success after taking home the title of PR Agency of the Year at the inaugral How-Do Awards. Held in Manchester on 24th April 2008, the awards celebrate the best work from the North West’s leading broadcasting, publishing and communications companies.
How-do.com is the region’s leading industry website which, in only one year, has become one of the most read and talked about media platforms in the North West. The 14 awards attracted more than 180 entries; the PR category had a shortlist of six of the region’s most high profile and respected names on it.
Sandy Lindsay, managing director of Tangerine, said: “Tangerine is only six years old and we’ve picked up at least one business accolade a year since we launched. This is testimony to not only all the talented people who work at Tangerine, but also the great clients we have.
“2007 was a truly momentous year for us as a business, with the launch of our London office as well as the foundation of two new teams: Public Affairs and Event Management. And now this award has well and truly topped off our success.”
During 2007 a number of high profile clients including Bob the Builder, Dulux, Emmi, Stagecoach Manchester and Galaxy and Maltesers hot chocolate drinks chose to work with Tangerine.
The awards, judged by panel of acclaimed media figures, looked for examples of companies or organisations which clearly demonstrated transparent success in 2007: growth of the company or reversing decline, managing and overcoming adversities, job creation, financial performance, industry accolades, innovation, staff development and leadership.
